Mitchell Parker, Ph.D, is the senior clinical psychologist and owner of Keller Clinic.  Dr. Parker has over 30 years of experience working with the families of children with learning and developmental disorders.  Prior to becoming owner of Keller Clinic, Mitch was employed in clinical, school, university and informal settings.  Recently, Dr. Parker served as the principal and clinical director at a school for children from 6 weeks to 21 years of age with developmental challenges.  Dr. Parker has been the head psychologist at Keller Clinic since 2002, specializing in offering comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations as well as the diagnosis and treatment of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and learning and developmental disorders.  Dr. Parker believes that treatment is most effective when there is a cooperative partnership of child, family and school.

Dr. Laura Rodriguez-Kitkowski is a professor at South University and has taught for Wayne State University, Oakland University and Madonna University in Michigan. Originally from Texas and a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Psychology, Laura currently lives in the Detroit Metropolitan area where she has a private practice specializing in depression, suicide, bi-polar, dual diagnosis, substance abuse, eating disorders and human sexuality with children, adolescents and adults. She is a public speaker and presenter on a variety of wellness topics as well as a trainer throughout the United States on personal and professional development. Laura coordinated 211 Initiative communications throughout the nation and Canada and continues with legislative efforts in a variety of counseling-relate and wellness related initiatives. She has managed specialized programs in Elder Care, Child Care, Employment & Training and Employee Assistance. She is a Past-President of the Michigan Counseling Association (MCA) and Chairman of the Board for The Information Center, Inc. She is a member of ACA, MCA, the MCA Governing Council, the Bloomfield Hills Optimist Club, and Past-President of the Oakland Counseling Association. She received both her Master of Arts and Doctorate of Philosophy in Counseling from Wayne State University.

Susan graduated from Wayne State University with a master’s degree in School & Community Psychology. In addition, she has a master’s degree in Public Health from Wayne State University and a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in Dietetics. She has worked in both the public and charter schools as a School Psychologist for over 12 years in both elementary and secondary settings.

At Keller Clinic, Susan specializes in psycho-educational assessment. As a School Psychologist, Susan has a passionate commitment to improve learning for all students. Susan is skilled in mental health, behavior and educational concerns utilizing psychology principles. She has expertise in the administration of assessments, including those which measure intelligence, achievement, adaptive behavior, perceptual motor skills and behavior.

Susan enjoys spending time playing paddle tennis and kayaking in her free time.

Judi Meininger is a school psychologist with over 15 years of experience in elementary, middle and high school settings.  She has supported students who have experienced challenges in the academic environment due to learning, emotional, behavioral, or social difficulties.  Judi has a particular interest in literacy development and dyslexia identification and intervention.  She is also well-versed in support of executive skills dysfunction.  She is skilled in cognitive and academic assessments and in designing effective interventions.  Judi is also experienced with special education law and requirements.  She received her Specialist degree in School Psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2007.  Prior to becoming a school psychologist, Judi was a registered nurse with a specialty in critical care medicine.  Judi is also a wife, a mother to three adult sons and a devoted dog owner.  She loves tennis, traveling, horseback riding, cooking and gardening. 

Claudia began working with children in 1972 when she had the wonderful opportunity to be an au pair in France for a family with seven children. After a year in Paris, she returned to the states to continue working with children as a teacher’s aide with Severely Mentally and Physically Impaired children and later with Emotionally Impaired at Fairlawn Center, a state psychiatric hospital for children and adolescents. Working as a teacher’s aide inspired Claudia to complete a BA in English and Masters Degree in Education. At Keller Clinic, Claudia works with elementary to college students primarily within the areas of English, writing, reading, study skills and ACT/SAT prep. 

Wisty Cruz has taught high school mathematics and science for the past 23 years. Wisty received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, Dearborn with majors in Biological Science and Mathematics. She received her Master of Arts in Education degree from the University of Michigan. Wisty has taught all levels of math with a focus on Algebra and Pre-Calculus. She has also taught, Biology, Human Anatomy, and Life Sciences. Furthermore, Wisty has developed curriculum and worked with colleagues to develop new courses offered at her high school. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Wisty shares her love of math with Keller students assisting with the after-school homework program and tutoring all levels of math.  She also serves as a high school National Honor Society Advisor and a Girls Varsity Tennis Coach.

Melody Moore tutors with Keller in areas including ACT, SAT, English, Social Studies, and Study Skills and College Planning. Additionally, she works with special needs students to develop organizational and study skills and to provide additional support in helping them understand and complete their coursework.

Currently, Melody is a Dean of Students at a local school and also works extensively with students and their families in college planning and preparation. She also teaches for University of Michigan’s Wolverine Pathways program, which aims to prepare middle and high school students for college. Additionally, she has taught at Henry Ford College and Wayne State University.

Melody holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, where she worked in the media for more than 10 years and owned a public relations company. She has a Master of Education in Special Education, which was completed in May 2019. Melody also completed ACT Basics training through ACT.org and has received her certification as an ACT Certified Educator.

Working with the students is a passion for Melody because she enjoys helping them overcome hurdles and accomplish their goals. She believes all students should have the opportunity and access to achieve their goals. She sets goals for the students based on their level and pushes them to reach their highest capacity.

Fred Campbell is a recently retired Math and Physics teacher with 30 years of extensive teaching experience at the high school and college levels.  Fred currently tutors students in all levels of Math. He graduated from U of M-Dearborn with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in 1981 and worked as an engineer for five years. Fred then returned to college and earned the following degrees from Eastern Michigan University:  an MBA (1985), a Michigan Secondary Teaching Certificate with Math and Physics Endorsements (1993), and a Master of Arts in Mathematics (2016). In addition, he was the head varsity tennis coach for both the boys' and girls' teams at Redford Union High School for 13 years. During that time, he also taught tennis part-time as a registered tennis-pro at the Fairlane Racquet Club and during summers for the Department of Recreation in both Redford Township and in the City of Livonia.  Besides playing tennis, Fred also enjoys boating with friends on our pontoon named "Summer Daze," traveling, biking, golfing, and especially tutoring.

Cindi graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Special Education. She has taught in the public school system for 26 years, both in the special education and in the general education setting.  Throughout her career as a resource room teacher she assessed, taught and supported children facing many different types and degrees of learning, physical, and medical challenges.  As a general education teacher, she designed and adapted educational strategies that could be successfully implemented in a classroom in order to provide all students the opportunity to meet with success.  At Keller Clinic, Cindi specializes in educational testing and uses her experience to make recommendations for academic success.

Sara Zielinski is an English tutor at Keller Clinic.  Sara earned a Master's Degree in Teaching and graduated from Central Michigan University with a secondary education degree in History, English and Social Studies (concentrated in Geography). She is certified to teach 6-12th grade.  Sara likes to help her students build off of prior knowledge to ensure lasting and meaningful connections.  At Keller, Sara offers academic tutoring as well as ACT/SAT Prep tutoring. When she is not tutoring, Sara enjoys being out on the lake. She also has a puppy at home, named Darcy, who needs tutoring from time to time.

Susan Bishop-Crowley is a tutor who works with students in ACT/SAT Prep and Spanish at Keller Clinic.  Susan is a graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor campus and is an avid fan of all things maize and blue.  She has been working with businesses and families from Spain, Mexico, Michigan, Laredo TX and San Diego, CA for over 20 years.  At Keller, Susan offers her students a variety of approaches to enhance grammar and language retention, while promoting the appreciation of hispanic cultures.  When she is not tutoring, Susan enjoys spending time with her family and friends, training her doggie, Pepper, healthy-gourmet cooking, gardening and creating art.

John has been teaching since 1981.  John started working at Keller Clinic when he got out of college as a full-time tutor. He has worked as a fifth and sixth-grade teacher prior to his resource teaching position.  John prides himself as strictly a one-on-one tutor at the clinic and as the Homework Program Instructor at Keller Clinic.   Outside of Keller Clinic, John enjoys spending time with family and writing short stories he hopes to one day publish.

Susan has been involved in education for 23 years. Her first years in education were spent in summer reading programs for disadvantaged children and teaching all subjects (K-8) in private education. She earned a B.A. at U of M with teaching certifications in English and history. For ten years, she worked as a middle school Language Arts teacher at a private school in Detroit. Susan was known for her rigorous writing and reading instruction that helped many students gain entrance into the very best public and private high schools in the Metro Detroit area.

Following a year of research and writing, she finished her thesis: How ADHD Effects Reading Fluency and Comprehension. Having spent years of study and writing her thesis, Susan was granted a M.A. by Madonna University in Special Education, focused in learning disabilities. She later resigned her position as a Language Arts teacher in order to work as a K-12 Resource Room teacher.

Susan began to tutor professionally as a result of meeting a student who struggled in his kindergarten class with phonics, numbers and was recommended to repeat another year of kindergarten. After completing a summer of tutoring with Susan three to four times a week for two hours per session, the student was able to continue to first grade. Susan realized from that experience that rigorous, one on one tutoring can often provide students how to make sense of numbers and to establish reading foundations they may have missed in an entire academic year.

One of Susan’s greatest pleasures is to witness a student’s face and newly found energy when they discover they can read, calculate and write: from there they take off on a marvelous journey in education.  Another of her joys is to see a renewal of a student’s self-esteem as they discover those feelings of achieving academic success!

Samantha graduated from West Virginia University with dual B.S. degrees in Chemistry and Forensic and Investigative Sciences, as well as a minor in Biology. While there, she volunteered as a chemistry tutor in the WVU Chemistry Learning Center each week, summing to nearly 250 hours of tutoring by the end of her four years at WVU. She was also actively involved as a peer mentor in the Honors College, engaged in STEM outreach throughout the state of West Virginia as the Community Outreach Coordinator for the American Chemical Society Student Affiliates and a teacher for the Next Generation Forensic Science Initiative, and held roles as both President and Vice President of the Forensic Science Club. During her senior year at WVU, she worked as a Teaching Assistant (TA) for an organic chemistry laboratory section. Her passion for both learning and teaching science led her to pursue her M.S. degree in Analytical Chemistry at the University of California, San Diego. While there, she continued to work as a TA for general, organic, and analytical laboratory and lecture sections, and also received funding from the Department of Education in the form of a GAANN (Graduate Assistance in Areas of National Need) fellowship for her research on antimicrobial peptides. Upon graduating, she returned to the Detroit area, where she continues to tutor ACT/SAT prep, as well as all levels of chemistry. She prides herself on her optimistic attitude, ability to break down difficult concepts into relatable, real-world examples, and ability to form meaningful connections with her students to keep them motivated. In her free time, Sam loves to spend time on the lake, read a good book, continue her search for the best tacos, and hang out with family, friends, and her pets.

Steve is originally from Ohio, leaving there to attend Kettering University for his studies in Mechanical Engineering.  Steve didn’t realize the quality of his high school math education until he attended college where he was able to help many of his college peers with their struggles in higher level math classes, like Calculus and Differential Equations.  Upon college graduation, Steve joined General Motors where he enjoyed a successful career working with young and talented engineers from around the world.  As an Engineering Manager, he especially enjoyed the many opportunities he had to teach and train those newer to GM.  After retiring from General Motors Steve started tutoring all levels of mathematics, including elementary basics, pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, and Calculus. Now in Commerce, Steve lives with his wonderful wife, son, and extended family.  Steve enjoys cooking family meals, reading fiction, playing golf, and hiking in the outdoors.  

Stewart completed a Master of Science degree in Mathematics at Wayne State University in 2021. During his time in undergraduate and graduate school, he worked at Macomb Community College as a teaching assistant for a variety of college math courses (algebra through differential equations). Since his graduation, he has worked as an adjunct math professor at Henry Ford College. Stewart has centered his teaching career on student success and student growth: he loves to teach his students how to utilize mathematical thinking in their lives. When he's not at work, Stewart enjoys going to local concerts and spending time with his friends.
